02 – Remnant

His mind’s getting close to insanity.
He stands vulnerable under the harshness of life.
“Once future seemed by my side… How wrong I was.
Now I’m forced to walk this path towards the unknown.”

As he plunges into uncertainty, his past behind him,
He feels a heavy burden in his heart… The price of his deeds.

Swallowed by a coil of despair,
His instincts are gone like mourning birds.
He can’t quell his torment.

Freezed up in my thoughts, my past is chasing me.
A burning feeling’s piercing my mind with rage.
Enslaved by the void, reality and mind are falling into pieces.
I’m sought by fear, it holds me tight.

“Inside of me, my past is disturbing me.
My life must head for another way.”
“Inside of me, I feel remorse corroding me.
As I make up my mind, hope has come to stay.”

“My spirit’s dying slowly. Once, time ago, future seemed by my side.”
Misfortunes spoken your name.
“Poor fool bastard I’m lost alone.”
No one shall hear your cries… Like fading echoes in the night…

03 – The Harvest

In this time of despair,
when the lack of hope reigns my silence,
All I can do is to look ahead
… and wait

I keep my seeds close to my heart,
for it’s the only thing now I have.
All my hopes rest in those seeds,
which in time will grow in trees.

As I harvest my hopes.

Rain starts to fall,
on me.
My harvest is all I can see.
I praise the day
when I will see
all my seedscome to dreams.

Time to heal my wounds.

I drift away on the tides of oblivion,
trying to hold on my memories,
fed by your reflections,
which keep me sane.

04 – Involution

Which is the path we’re walking?
Have you ever look back at your steps?
Why is this inertia pushing us?
Just a few questions in my head.

Sometimes it’s just so hard to believe,
that everything could go on like this.
Perhaps I have made up my mind,
this can’t go on, not like this.

Is this the price we pay for all these years?
We all seem blind in front of this.
In retrospect,
we can see it’s still the same.
Always cherishing,
this involution.

Pain, sorrow, self-destruction.
Starvation, war and corruption.
Why aren’t god stopping this bloodshed?
There isn’t any god left to pray.

Is this the price we pay for all these years?
We all seem blind in front of this.
In retrospect,
we can see it’s still the same.
Always cherishing,
this involution.

Our steps have guided us to his point,
where nothing seems clear and everything worng.
So cultured in some ways and so coarse in others.
Am I the only one feeling like going back?

Pain, sorrow, self-destruction.
Starvation, war and corruption.
Why aren’t god stopping this bloodshed?
There isn’t any god left to pray.

We can’t be going backwards.

05 – Twilight

Awaiting for the shadows my heart is beating weak,
On this coming eternal night, my spirit is now in doubts.
Forever in this place my mind will find a place,
where I shall escape from this darkened reality.

We wait now,
below the sky.
Twilight comes.
Sun is hiding beyond my fear.

Who can tell now my uncertain destiny?
Only warm fires will talk for me.
A starry sky is now calling for me,
in this twilight, another dimension appears.

We wait now,
below the sky.
Twilight comes.
We march with our feigned pride.

Deadly land, like the most frozen mountain peak.
Who knows now, who knows Twilight?
Should I believe in my life these times?
Beside the fire, I see now forgotten dreams.

We wait now,
below the sky.
Twilight comes.
The essence of mankind is found.

06 – Reverie

You can’t really escape your thoughts…

Can you tell me, oh friend of mine,
if you’ve ever seen the light,
if you’ve never touched time,
with your very hands?

Can you affirm if the wood are real,
if your fate has guided you,
if at night your thoughts hunt you?
Oh, my friend, I can.

Through the sorrow and the past, through the chaos in my mind,
you’ll never understand, my freedom can’t be touched.
Through the unknown lands of rain, on the dying greyish grass,
in a broken world, I’m struggling because of my past.

Going now I find my escape,
through a broken reality.
Tell me why the sun is cold,
only here where I stand

For a while I see my truth,
in the depths of my heart it lies.
Go now, friend, tell I’m lost.
Wake me when winds change.

Beyond meaning of the pain, carving out forgotten life.
In extremes of thought, reality is now mine.
I’m crossing a new born land with stellar warming light,
I’m wandering only guided by my time.
